Hi All,
I want to have a simple explorer function that basically retrieves all data/stocks that;
Either
1) CCI (20 period) exceeds 200 level and
2) CCI (20 period) goes below -200 level.
So far, I have the following, and its not working.. as I am not that aware of Metastock's language, can you please help. Thank you!
COL A: Longs: CCI(14)<-200
COLB: SHORTS: CCI(14)>200
FILTER: COL A OR COLB

If you want a 20 period CCI() then why have you specified only 14 periods in the exploration? Do some revision of writing codes in the MS User Manual and the free Equis Formula Primer. try: Code:
{ColA - CCI}
CCI(20);
{filter}
ind:=CCI(20);
ind>200 OR
ind<-200;
{this could be simplified by using : abs(ind)>200 }
