Sorry if this questions have been asked before. I am new to v11 prof for esigal and take real time data to trade HK Hang Seng futures. 1. How do you set the 30min intraday chart to start from the start of 30th minute ? HK market opened at 9:15, so I'd like the chart to give me two 30minute candlesticks at 10:00 (i.e. one from 9:15 to 9:30, another from 9:31 to 10:00). Unfortunately the chart aggregate from 9:15 to 9:45 for the 1st candlestick giving me unexpected result (same for hourly chart). How to sovle the problem? 2. Is there any way to develop an expert at 'layout' level? e.g. suppose my layout has 5min and 30min intraday charts, I would like to show some messages (wherever it can be displayed) if the 30min macd AND 5min EMA fulfilled some criteria.. Many thanks for your kind assistance.

1. You can get MS to use your system time and date in lieu of time and date provided by data vendor -- check Tools > Options > Realtime configuration.

2. Have a look at Roy Larsen's excellent works for multi timeframe indicators.

Hi wabbit, Thanks so much for help. 1. I follow Tools > Options > Realtime > Configure server > check "Replace vendor-supplied times with computer system time" but nothing changed. Did I set wrongly or anything missed? 2. Thanks for this reference. Peter

1. Solved by using a different method 2. Basically solved by using mod() function.
