Hi,
I am new to Metastock and have been trying to explore my eod data for Hammer formation. Below are my exploration setup:
ColA
Close
ColB
Hammer()
Filter
(ColA > 0.2) and (ColB > 0)
I have created an artifical data to test it out and I received a error in the result that says
"Security Name Reason for Rejection Location
TAI SIN ELECTRIC LIMITED Filter reference to N/A value in column B. C:\MetaHammer "
May I know where did I go wrong? Thanks.

I don't have the Hammer() function but when I have problems with an explorer I
create an indicator and plot it in a inner window to see what part of the indicator
is messing up my exploration.

Hi Johnl,
I am using Metastock EOD v11. Hammer() is a built in function that comes with the s/w. I was wondering is there a code to detect a Hammer candle?
