I'm going mad trying to use MS PRO..before I was using EOD and everything was so simple..you had one set of data OHLC albeit you had to wait til about 8pm (in the UK) to get it.

I now have "real time" but somebody please tell me this.

If I look at Barclays for example (LSE, BARC)

on a daily chart, the price is 291.60

I drill down to hourly, the price is 286.6

I drill down further to 15min, the price is 290.40

What the hell is going on?! How can three charts all show different prices, when the time is 18.30, two hours AFTER the LSE market has closed

Can anybody logically explain, and help me before I just go back to plain EOD

Thanks anybody

Just a guess but is it showing just the previous FULL period's data and not the
current period's data?

Its a possibility John. It doesnt quite make sense though that even the minute chart (same as 15min by the way...hallelujah for consistency!) doesnt match the hourly or daily. That by definition must have been the very last full period of data.

During the day, when prices are running, they all tie in, but at the end of the day when I need to do analysis/draw trend lines/support resistance lines..where am I supposed to draw them?

I just thought I'd let everyone know the reason, just in case anybody else has the same problem, but given the number of responses I was cleary alone in this issue..

changing the properties of the equity, from 08:00-16:30 (LSE trading hours) to 12:00-12:00 manages to fix this issue.
