Hi,
I have Metastock 10.
I download intraday data (ticker: UG ; french Security into 10min) in ASCII format, and use Downloader to convert them into Metastock Database. I have now a Metastock file into my folder (Nono) "MetaStock Data => Nono".
How to open and display my UG Security into Metastock into 10min?
Thank you for your answer and for your patience, I'm newsbies.

I'm not using intraday data so I can't check if 10 min data is working... - Perodiocity can't be changed on my compter too, but I can see all files I
have imported..
Can you see your data file with "The Downloader" ? Can you see other security datafiles if you use "File" - "New" "Chart" ?

Are you using MetaStock Pro or MetaStock End-of-Day? MetaStock End-of-Day does not have the ability to chart intraday securities, even if you are manually converting the data. You would need MetaStock Professional for this.

Thank you for your answer.
I have Metastock 10.1 and I buy it the 3th October 2007, do I have the ability to chart intraday securities with this version?
If no, what is the way and the cost to upgrade Metastock to have the ability to chart intraday securities?
Thanks again.

Nono75
Click on menu Help > About Metastock and post here what is the version you have.
Then let us know if you have a provider for real time data.
You need both to chart intraday.
regards, Bulli

By both I mean Metastock Professional version AND Real time data vendor or data provider.

Thanks again. The purchase date does not help as we've had End-of-Day and Pro versions released side-by-side for quite some time. If you do not see "MetaStock Professional" on the shortcut, and based on your current problems, I would have to say you are using the End-of-Day version, which cannot view intraday security files. There is also a significant price difference between the versions, End-of-Day being $499 and Pro being $1095 - $1695

You could always get the newest version to get the problem solved.
