Is there a way to exit metastock without being prompted to save? It happens even if I didn't do any modifications.

This actually can occur with Auto-Tile being turned on. You would probably see this the most with layouts, or by having multiple charts opened with Auto-Tile turned on. The program detects this as a change in the charts and can prompt you to save again.

It happens also if I don't have the auto tile turned on. It happens when I open multiple charts. I don't do any modifications even in the options, just open metastock, open three charts and close metastock.

This is another issue which has been around for a long time but which the development team has elected not to address.
Open a stock and apply several templates to the stock which results in multiple charts being opened at the same time. If you choose to exit the program there is no way to answer once that you want to close all charts without saving. An annoying feature.

Strange, I just opened IBM.MWC and GOOG.MWC and AMZN.MWC (at the same time and also separately) with Auto-Tile turned off, immediately clicked the X to close MetaStock and was not prompted to save. Which version of MetaStock are you using?

Which version of MetaStock are you using? 11.0 I noticed that if I open n charts it prompts to save n-1
times, that is for every chart except the one opened last (that is the
one showing on the screen since it's the last opened).
