Hi all
This is a strange one I have a wireless mouse that only goes crazy when in Metastock. I have tried changing the mouse to a plug in mouse (twice) but the pointer keeps jumping to the top of the menu bar.
Has anyone seen anything like this before?

We have seen this issue with certain (video drivers?) on Windows Vista / 7. The workaround to this is to disable the Windows Aero theme. This can be done a couple different ways. One way (which only turns this theme off when running MetaStock is as follows:
Close MetaStock Right-click on the MetaStock shortcut and click "Properties" Click on the "Compatibility" tab Put a checkmark next to "Disable Desktop Composition" and "Disable Visual Themes" and click Ok Restart MetaStock
While running MetaStock, Windows will change to "Windows Vista Basic" (or possibly Windows 7 Basic - I am not too familiar with Windows 7). When you close MetaStock, it will switch back to using the "Aero" theme again.

I'd also point out that I had a customer who didn't like switching to Vista Basic Mode and he claims to have resolved this by checking:
"Disable display scaling on high DPI settings"
instead of the other 2 options. I have not directly been able to test/verify this myself, but it's easy enough to check to see if that may resolve the issue without affecting your Desktop display.
