Hi, This seems a weird one - I have a weekly chart of apple and put a 30 Simple Moving Average on it. The data is correct (197.197, put the mouse near the top) however as you can see its plotted it on the chart just under 230. What's going on?

Hi Dawson

Try setting the scale the MA uses to the right scale. The MA in your picture is either using the left scale or no scale at all. Right-click on the MA, select Scaling, and choose Merge with scale on right.

Thanks! I should have mentioned that I'm a MetaStock newbie. Will have to check out the scaling option, don't really understand it - I don't want any scaling (not sure if that's an option). I guess I'll have a dig around in the manual.
