unable to install windows service & windows 7

hi ,
I have metaStock 10 pro.
after I install it on my windows 7 laptop
it give me unable to install windows service error message.
I read about these error & what I found is to restart AstSrv.exe
actually I have these service on my C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder.
also I cannot see it on services on administrator tools on control panel !
any suggestion ?

10.0 was never designed to work with Vista (or 7). 10.1 is the first Vista compatible version. We made a number of permission-related changes to our installer to handle these issues. While it is possible that you could manually go in and make these adjustments, I would recommend installing 10.1 (free to download for anyone who owns 10.0) instead.
You might be able to right-click on License Manager and choose "Run As Administrator" to see if this will allow the AST Service to install, but otherwise I would just try installing 10.1.

Sorry for these mistake I have 10.1 already.
I right click on Astsrv.exe and choose to run it as administrator , but the same error message still appear!!

You cannot install the service by launching ASTSRV.EXE, you need to right-click on the "License Manager.exe" and choose Run As Administrator.
If this does not work, it could very well be a rights issue that is preventing the service from being installed.

hi justin, can you please tell me how do I upgrade my metastock 10.0 to 10.1? I installed it on win 7, in runs but very slow..thanks.
