Hi, I signed up to Reuters Datalink EOD for metastock 11 EOD a couple of day ago. First of all using the downloader, it takes forever to download prices and if I select more than one folder for example "LSE" "NASDAQ" and "AMEX" the data doesnt even appear after the downloader is done. I open the charts with metastock and a blank chart appears. Then I decided to do one file at a time, and started with the "S&P500". When I open the chart with Metastock, the data only goes as far back as JAN 2008. However when I select open file on metastock, and the stock says Start date: x-x-2004. I have no idea how to fix this, any ideas? Thank you!

With a double click on your x-axis (time axis) you can change the time-period for which data should be loaded and which time-period should be displayed in your chart...
Using "The Downloader" you can also load datafiles ("File"-"Open") to check how long the history of securities is

For newly created securities, you set the First Date when you create them in the DownLoader. However, there is also a "Load Options" in MetaStock that can restrict the data further in your charts. You can, as mentioned adjust the X-Axis, but you can also more permanently increase the load via File-->Open-->Options-->Load Options.
