Hi,
By default, the day range for weekly scans (periodicity set to Weekly) is Friday to Friday. Is it possible to vary this so I can, for example, run weekly explorations with a start day being Wednesday?

I don't believe you can change the makeup of weekly data within MetaStock. Having said that, if the indicators and functions you use for your scan already exist or can be assembled as D series Multi-Frame indicators (that function on EOD data) then using a two-day offset to construct weekly prices would allow you to get the required results from EOD scans.
The demo SMA available from http://www.metastocktips.co.nz/other_formulas.html does not have the offset feature but all D series indicators in the kit do. Write to me at rlarsen@quik.co.nz if you would like to check out a Multi-Frame indicator that does have the offset feature.
