Just started using Win 7 with MS 9.1 and I can't view the stock symbol in the upper right corner (topmost bar) anymore. Any ideas please? Thanks in advance.

This is an "Aero" theme issue. Window-->Tile and you will be able to see the values, but when the chart is maximized with the program title bar, these values will no longer display.
The other possible work-around at this time is to disable the Aero theme while you are using MetaStock. This can be done by right-clicking on your MetaStock shortcut and clicking Properties. Click the "Compatibility" tab and check the "Disable Desktop Composition" and "Disable Visual Themes" and click Ok. Restart MetaStock after doing this.
