Halo

I am user of MS 8.0 Pro. I would like to display 4H chart, but i dont know how to do it.
I have tick data downloaded frop public www.

2nd question is about MACD. How can i change parameters to 5,13,1?

hey marcin..... i've never used ms 8 so not sure of it's, if any, limitations as compared to v9..... 4 hour charts were possible with 9 but never worth my time spent..... to create a different time frame you can use excel to find the open , high, low, close of any combined ' lower time frames ' data ..... roughly put, take 3 one hour bars and calculate the open, high, low and close of those to create a 3 hour chart.... it was just too much work for me......

then came v10 which creates instantly virtually any time frame at the click of a button..... it's the way to go if it fits someones budget......

to change the macd parameters you'll need to create a custom macd formula that has inputs.... similar to what preston did here for the tema dema......h

Just to Confirm :-) Version 10 or 11 of the Pro or FX can now have 4 hour bars (periodicity) Is this correct?
