Hi,

Good day to all!
Anyone has any idea on the formula to use in Metastock explorer to scan for Monthly & Weekly DMI?
e.g. I'm looking at:-
a) Monthly PDI(14) above Monthly MDI(14) &
b) Weekly PDI(14) above Weekly MDI(14).

Hope to hear from the many experts here.

Sincerely
wabbit

Hi Roy,

The simplest solution is to just perform two explorations, using the results of the first exploration on one time frame in the second exploration in the other time frame. Have a look in the MS Users Manual for how the results of explorations are stored, or just peruse for yourself through the contents of your favourites folder in MS.

If you really need the coded solution, have a look at Roy Larsen's multiple time frame indicators at his website: http://www.metastocktips.co.nz/

Hi Wabbit,

That was a great help for an indicator.
Let me see if I can get around the code for explorer (screening)

Thanks once again!

Sincerely
Roy
