Hey folks, I obtained some intraday market data for the Bund from TickData and used The Downloader to convert it to MS format.

The output file is in the .DAT format e.g. F1.DAT. However when I go to the main page on MetaStock (the first page that loads) and try to open the data as a chart I get the error "Not a valid MetaStock or Windows file". Why is this happening? Do I have to do something to the output before I can open it as a chart?

Help is greatly appreciated.

I'm using MS 10 EOD btw.

You cannot be in "All Files" mode for the File Type to open symbols. Additionally, if these securities were converted to an Intraday format, MetaStock EoD will be unable to view them. MetaStock EoD can only view securities Daily and above. You would need MetaStock Professional to open Intraday securities.
