Both Reuters DataLink and QuoteCenter offer data packages that contain this information. Who do you currently go through to receive your data?

There are several custom indicators that come with MetaStock Professional for this broad market information. The all start with BM, such as "BM NASDAQ Advance/Decline Line". At the top of MetaStock Professional you should have an Indicator Quicklist with a drop-down arrow you can click on to see a list of indicators.
You will need to use "The DownLoader" to update these formulas, however. In The DownLoader, click Tools-->Download Prices. Add the folder C:\MetaStock Data\BM Data from the left-hand side to the right-hand side. Click Ok
Make sure you wait until after market hours to update this folder, or set the "Ending Date" field to yesterday's date.
