Hi friends,
Can anyone tell me if we can put a time based locking system in an expert. My purpose is to make the system available to my clients as long as they are paying for my system.
Thanks
Sourav

There is no expiring feature directly within the MetaStock formula language. Most people that set up something like this use a programmed DLL file. You may want to look into the MetaStock Developer's Kit at https://www.metastock.com/Partners/Developers.aspx

Hi Rajni
A solution suggested to me some time back and one that I use in my demo Multi-Frame formulas is the Life() function. When the date entered, as in Life(110331) say (31st of March 2011), the result becomes invalid (N/A), and this can be used in a number of different ways. Of course such formulas must be password protected, and MetaStock passwords are not unbreakable.
