I would like to use MetaStock 10.1 charts in an online newsletter that I write, however when I export the chart to a .bmp image and try to resize the image in an image editor such as Photoshop the end results are terrible.

Could anyone who is doing this help me with the actual workflow? I know users are already doing this since I get many e-zines with MetaStock charts in them.

Thanks in advance.

hey rebelpow...... with seeing the picture it's hard to think of a cure.... but just shootin from the hip here, odds are you are not keeping the ratio correct..... there should be a setting for aspect ratio or something like that.... you want to keep the ratio intact.....

couple things you might consider.....

first.... size the image correctly in meta , then save it.... that will avoid the need to resize in the first place....

second.... unless there is a true need for bitmap, you can save via the files tab in meta.... use the selection 'save as html'..... size the chart correctly then save using that method for a png image....

third and perhaps best..... size the image correctly first and then right click on it and select copy..... paste that directly on your web page, msword , excell or just what ever you are creating your newsletter with, except notepad..... you should be able to easily move the chart around to situate it correctly.....h
