Friends,
I just upgraded myself from EOD to Pro.
Can someone help with the formula of drawing a 50 period EMA of 30 minute chart on a 5 minute chart ?
Thanks much

since there are 6 "five min bars" that would represent 1 "30 min bar", a 50 period ema on a 30 min chart would equal a 300 period ema on a 5 min chart

Hi Henry1224!
I tried, but both are not the same. i.e 50 period EMA on 30 Min chart & 300 Period EMA on 5 Minute chart. The values differ. ie. for example at any point of time, say 10 am (end of the period for both EMAs), if I compare the EMA values, both are different. Or may be I am doing some thing wrong here.
Any inputs would be very valuable.
Thanks much.
