My own real time data feed
Hi All,
I am a software developer,
i think this question asked before but i need more explanation
we purchased the MS_QCENTER91 and MDK9.1 ReadOnly and we need to create our owned EOD and real time data feed?
we need as scenario like this
"we develpoed before the same scenario with insider3000 (developed a server for EOD and real time feed and a client(DLL) which connet to the server and retrived a data ,the insider programer call my Client(DLL) to request the data from the server )"
my question what is optimum sollution for this scenario .
Thanks in advance, sayed

Unfortunately there is no ability to connect directly with the data servers, this is not something that is likely to ever happen. The closest you could get to something like this is to set up DDE links into Excel and then move the data from Excel into your custom application.

I think you have it backwards. skamelsd, Are you trying to get data into the chart or out of it? If you're trying to get data out, then what Pyradius said is true. Otherwise, you will need MetaStock Developer's Kit Read/Write, which I don't believe we sell anymore. With that, you still couldn't quite do realtime. You would write to the data files, either EOD or realtime, then the user would need to click the refresh button on the chart in order to see the updates your dataprovider app was providing. You can try contacting Equis Sales and see if you can purchase the Read/Write version, https://www.metastock.co...mpany/about/Contact.aspx
