Hi there

I seem to have lost my base security. I have opened up a smart chart for RIO and all that is showing is the volume across the whole screen. When I right click 'display base security' is not active (light grey). When I look at the next chart everything is OK - bars and volume present.

Can someone tell me what I have done wrong and how to fix it?

Thanks, Mouse

Mouse,

You have had the base security selected then pressed delete! To re-display the base security, right click on the chart and select Display Base Security.

OK... the other option is that yuo have maximized the volume window, so right click in the window, select inner window from the popup menu and then restore from the submenu.

Hope this helps.

Wow what a relief. I have fixed it now with your help and a bit of trial and error.

I think what I had done was drag the volume indicator onto the main chart window without creating an inner window and it therefore covered the whole main window and chart.

I ended up deleting the volume indicator from the screen and there was my chart - a sigh of relief. I have now created a new inner window and placed the volume indicator into this. The smart chart is now back to what it should have been. A good exercise. Sorry for any frustration or inconvenience; I certainly appreciate your help.

Mouse.
