Plz explain the use of 'GV' ,where can i get Roy's Equity Curve,& the appropiate use.

The GV DLL, created by Mark Pyle as GlobalVar.DLL, allows you to store a number of variables without being directly restricted by the MetaStock 20-variable limitation. It has a number of practical applications and the public domain family of Trade Equity tools for MetaStock demonstrates several of these.
In its simplest form Trade Equity is just an equity curve indicator. It is not a trading system and can only plot a curve when buy/sell formulas, similar to those required for the Enhanced System Tester formula windows, are available as indicators.
Most Trade Equity indicators and explorations are available from http://www.metastocktips.co.nz/te_formulas.html or http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/TradeEquity/ . Those that aren't can be obtained from me at rlarsen@man.quik.co.nz . The GV DLL is available in the files section of this forum.
