hello, everyone! only just discovered this forum, good to see there's some of my friends here already. my question is: how do I get chart to show gap for trading halts etc (not weekends & such). some of my templates do & some don't. I have no idea how or why. tried checking various 'properties' including volume, X-axis etc, but getting nowhere.

thanks any help - amory.

Hi amory,

Glad to see you finally made it over here!

Have you tried using Jose's missing-trading-bars indicator, free to download from http://www.metastocktools.com/MetaStock/Missing.txt>

Hi Wabbit, thanks for advice. actually found a different method. create a new window (narrow, right at the top, no heading) then from the all-ords chart, drag the all-ords into that window. the offending stock now has no choice but to show the gaps, so as to fall in line with the all-ords in the top window. save as whatever was the name of the template & bob's your uncle!

thanks again - amory

Amory,

just goes to show, there is more than one way to skin a cat! (Especially when it comes to MS!)
