If I want to use explorer on a whole sector, and want to do it locally, what is an easy way to make sure that my local data includes data for all online securities in that sector. I.e. how do I know if my local data reflects symbols that have changed, been deleted or newly created?

hey ilamar1..... you didn't mention your data supplier but as a rule you'll have to create local data folders to match the online versions....

after the folder creation is done you'll need to keep things current..... check out brandons sync deal for help in that area.....h
