In metastock help there is a formula called “Standard Deviation Channel” But although there is an Interpretation for this formula, there is no indicator! :oops: Does someone know where I can find it? #-o

In a sample of prices, if we have a normal distribution and the standard deviation is 1, this means that contains the 67% of the prices. If the standard deviation is 2, this means that contains the 95% of the prices. If the standard deviation is 3, this will contain the 99% of the prices. I want an indicator, like bollinger bands, who will separate the prices (of rsi for example). If I put standard deviation 2, I will like to separate about the 95% of most common prices and the about 5% of the most extreme prices. I don’t think is the fair to indicate the oversold prices of rsi if are above 70 or any other stable digit. Some stocks find 70 very often and some others very rare or not at all. I hope with this indicator that I ask, find the really extreme lever for each stock. :twisted: If the is an other indicator which saws us if we have a normal distribution or not it is welcome too =D>
