Has anybody had any problems using Version 9.x templates with version 10? I emailed some of my 9.1EOD templates to my father who is using 10EOD. He's getting error messages when trying to use them, but I have a feeling it's a problem with the template folder location or a bad link to the template. Hard to tell over the phone.
I assume my templates should work for him as long as he has the same indicators available.
And has anyone tried using a V10 template with version 9?

hey jim..... the template must be in his v10 charts folder.... and like you mentioned, all indicators and securities , if any are in the template , must be in his machine with the exact same file path.....
templates can be applied from any version to any other version, at least from v9 up.....
try sending the template to yourself and rename it.... then see if you can apply it to a security on your machine.... the trouble might lie in the email transaction.....h

Thanks, Seed - that's pretty much what I'd assumed; my guess is that it's something different between my file folder structure and his. Good to know they *can* work, though.
