Mr. StorkBite,
In the earlier forum there used to be a feature that listed all the post since the last visit, it was a convenient feature. New forum seems to be missing that feature, instead I see a new feature of "Unread" posts.
It will be nice to have the "Posts since last visit feature" again.
Regards
smg

Without the "Posts since last visit" function, this forum is in danger of withering away.
As it stands now, there is little incentive to post anything of value here, as new information will be lost in a sea of older posts.

Although it isn't perfect there are two immediate options to view the most recent posts etc... From the http://forum.equis.com/forums/default.aspx page, in the Shortcuts section (top right of the page) yuo can select to View Posts You Have Not Read ( http://forum.equis.com/forums/TopicsNotRead.aspx"New Since Last Visit" (Now I dont know if it because of some of the security settings in my computer, but when I select the "new since last visit" function I still get to see ALL the posts? I don't save cookies and have numerous other security settings that seem to play havoc with some websites. (W3C standard compliant sites (funnily enough) aren't affected!) George has already explained the Mark All Posts Read is a high priority; see http://forum.equis.com/forums/thread/19727.aspx

I hear your comment loud and clear. I'm working on clearing these old posts from the unread list. This would allow us to all start from scratch instead of seeing 18,000 posts since last visit. Give me a day or two. I made a change to the global forum settings to see if I can easily accomplish this. If not, it will require updating the database.

Thanks for that handy list o' links. I've been working my way down through them, but on my screen the links I've previously clicked don't change color (the Forum HTML color setting are overriding my browser settings), so it's hard to keep track of where I am in the list - does anybody else have that problem? Have I missed a display-option setting somewhere?

That's one of our css values causing that problem. Other than changing the style sheet, you can override the web content styles in your browser. I'll look at the style sheet... well, I'll put it on my list. In the mean time, I spaced out the links and when you're clicking on them keep an eye on the number to know where you're going next.

This feature is now implemented. You can find the button to clear your list at the bottom of the Not Read list. You'll only see it here... 'cause Telligent doesn't offer it in any CS release!
