Hi I m using metastock eod 7.2, i like to arrange all my asx data into sectors, is there any easy way of doing this? thnx in advance

shaker, Welcome tot he forum. Who is your data provider? Just about every Australian data provider has a method of doing this. wabbit :D

Take a look at the freeware AsxGroup v5.1 and USGicsGroup utilities from MetaStockTools.com. Also consider the URSC tool kit, which can sort securities into any GICS sector or industry group combination imaginable. jose '-)

thnx wabbit i use cooltrader eod as my providor but nothing on the site for sectors. Also tried Jose's tool but doesn't seem to work for me. i foolow the instruction to convert the metstock data to ascii but the downloader cant find the data in the folder :?
