My search function isn't working, so sorry if this is a little off topic. What is the symbol format to use for the tickers of indicises? For example, currently i'm using _DJI, but it doesn't grab any information.

It will depend on your data provider. With DataLink you can get the dow using ".DJI".

hey topher..... also, $dj is esignals version and us&dji is quotecenter..... here is a partial symbol list.... that page is searchable, use find on page......h

I guess I should have included that I'm using MetaStock EOD, and my data provider is Reuters.

using the "." in front of the symbol worked perfectly! Thanks so much!!!
