More briefly:
because I have all my data for the Stock Exchange in local folder so I am update as it go, if Stock Exchange is open is automatic flown data into this folder and its record so I am able to pull out a chart (in real time ), Stock Exchange data is flown only to my 1 folder and it mark as a real time folder but I would like to seperate Indices and stock so I won't geting mess so I need 2 folder with will update them on the same time in real time( I know how to create them) but I dont know if is possible to setup them to get 2 real time feed on the same time.. for indices and stock
I am downloading data not data on demand but by local folder retrival it, for example somebody put order to buy or sell stock so when the tick generate I am able to pull out the tick into metastock and a chart is creating it automatic record but whenever I choose to get a folder as real time I can only go with only one, because if I choose other the one I left is not record... that mean in my knowledge I am unable to get a data into few folder on the same time, it will be nice if I can record indices and stock on the same time but in diffrent folder so I won;t get mess otherwise I will have to put them everythink in one folder...
so is there any way now? to get a real time for stock and indices in 2 diffrent folder?
TOOLS | OPTIONS | REALTIME | CONFIGURE | FILE UPDATES is apparently not the answer. Next!

hey g....... the ' is apparently not the answer. Next! ' part is confusing me, can't tell if your thinking your answer is right or wrong.... data vendors might vary but qc and esignal just require the ->tools -> options -> real-time -> configure server -> file updates -> add -> , browse or type in name of folder..... we can have the 'csco' 15 minute chart in any number of folders.....
it would help to know his vendor or method of downloading, seems there is more to his problem than realtime folders..... almost sounds like its a single networked copy of meta with multiple users at multiple locations, which will work fine ..... seem to remember some issue if a user was accessing the chart, updates might cease.......
if thats the case, just creating seperate folders and adding them to realtime should solve.....h

Sorry for the confusion. I thought that'd be the answer, but it wasn't. The repliy I got was "nope this is not a answear, I'm
not ask how to get a file updates, as you know or dont know a file updates only work for U.S stock Market not other market, so I can't use it. "
I probably just didn't understand the question. I was hoping that someone else might.

You can have more than one folder for local data updaing in real time. When you add a new local real time security you specify the folder and MetaStock will ask if you want the specific folder to update in real time. Change the path for the next security a second folder will be created.
If you are using data on demand use the favorites lists and create a folder for stocks and one for indecies.
this will keep them in two different places.
