hello friends :
I am using ver 7.2 EOD , going to update it soon .
I would like to know , if there is any easier way to value on the entry date but not using the valuewhen function .
I found it could be more easier to do it if there is a function .
For example , if I want to know the open value of a white candle when it cross a 10 bars sma line , how can I write .
If the conditions are more complicated . the valuewhen functions seems lag behind when there is alert function in the formula .

Please post the formula that doesn't work properly. Maybe someone will be able to find the problem with it. Without a formula we are just guessing at what the problem is. In my experience, ValueWhen() is exactly the right tool for the job, and I suspect that how the trigger event (EXPRESSION) is written might be where the real problem lies.
