Does anyone know where the favorites files are stored so I can back them up? Many thanks

hey kadip..... your favorites are in the dta file 'favorites' in the metastock folder..... don't over expect what that dta file contains ..... it is a list of shortcuts to the real individual dta files of the charts themselves.....
so the favorites folder only holds a list of addresses of charts, nothing more......
one way to back it up is to right click on it, then select copy and paste it into a safe place..... h
