The wish list is updated as new items come in. Most of these items are captured from various forum threads, but if you don't see your wish on the list, you can post it here. Even though the post date on the "Official List" is not updated, you will see that the content is... look to the bottom of the last official post for the date it was edited.

Plato might be able to better address this, but MS v9.2 is forthcoming. More details to follow soon.

I came past information that MS 10 will only come as a bundle with Reuters Data and no other data provider will be able to give data to MS 10
Is it true?
I suppose this doesn’t worry US customers but will your Australian friends get clean ASX data from Reuters in accordance to Australian Stock Exchange requirements/recommendations?
Also I hope that this will not apply to any of the coming MS 9 versions.

Where did you see information like that?
The sneak preview thread of 9.2 says it will only be for QuoteCenter. It doesn't mention anything about 10.
Neither QuoteCenter or Reuters Datalink have only US data. They both carry international data as well.

I can not understand when will be the release of 9.2 Metastock.
Also this Version is also for the People that have Metastock 9.1 Pro for E-Signal?
I quiet believe that the New Version of Metastock will not release soon.
Reasons are many.
I believe that in Equis stay for the New Operating System of Microsoft Vista to be release.
Also does not exist a 64 Bit Version in most of Software.
I believe that the Next Version of Metastock will be at 64 Bit.
I wish to create a totally New Downloader.
Anyway we will stay until then.
George Kanellopoulos.

That means the thread g_stockman posted with a sneak preview said that the 9.2 upgrade will only come in the QuoteCenter versions.

My number 1 wish is for any new version of MetaStock to remain backwards-compatible with earlier versions.
In other words, allow the importation of pre-v9.x formulae into any new MS version, and thus avoid the fragmentation of the MetaStock user-base.

That is most people's wish, so we do what we can to provide it

v9.2 is coming. No, it will not be a major change... that's what v10 is for. :D

Dear George,
Hello.
Do you know if the New Version will be for users of Metastock 9.1 Pro for E-Signal, too?

Please read the rest of this thread and the 9.2 Sneak Prevew thread in the Crew's Articles.
They both say 9.2 is only for QuoteCenter.

LOL! Hey it's Saturday...
It's not going to affect your esignal version, Kanellop. Sorry I wasn't clear. Thank goodness for the forum!

Branden,
Sorry for another question as I don’t understand statement “it will only be for QuoteCenter”
What is “QuoteCenter”?
Is it data provider or some kind of service?
I am not up to speed with names and firms.
Apologies if my question looks stupid.

QuoteCenter is a real time data feed AND the name of an application separate from MS. It is confusing. MS for QuoteCenter uses the QC data feed for real time data... like esignal, for example. The QC application is something different altogether. The 9.2 update will address the version of MS that uses QC data.

Jose,
Your desire is Equis as well. There is a vast body of code, plug-ins, etc... that rely on backwards compatability. We have no desire to fracture the user base, but to unite
