what are all the functions that "cheats" , what are all the functions that use future results in producing indicators?
- Peak()
- Trough()
- Divergence()
- ref( x , n) , where x refers to price and n>0
pls add on, correct me if i m wrong
also please specify the range if parameters applicable to count it as a cheat like what i did for "ref( x , n)"

Any functions that are based on the Zig Zag will have this "cheat." this includes all flavors of Peak and Trough functions. The LastValue functions was designed intentionally to do this and the Ref function using a positive reference will also look into the future.
Actually the Parabolic SAR does not "cheat." Equis has explained that as designed by Well's Wilder, the Parabolic SAR should be plotted one bar into the future. That is, the calculation of the SAR for today should be plotted in the location where tommorrow's bar will be drawn. However, a limitaion in the MetaStock's charting does not allow indicators to be plotted where there is no bar. So to show the current value, they shift the plot back one bar.
