Does anyone know an indicator formula which will display a daily moving average on a weekly chart. ie so one can visualise a 50 day ema on a weekly chart. Normally if you place a 50 day ema on a daily chart and then switch to weekly view the moving average will be a 50 week ema. Thanks for your help.

Hey Dog- Welcome to the forum! The weekly chart does not contain the daily data; however, you could consider plotting a weekly MA on a daily chart. TO do so, there are many multi-timeframe posts that you could follow. Here aer 2 sites you absolutely have to bookmark: http://www.metastocktips.co.nz http://www.metastocktools.com/ HTH, G :D
