I believe that COMMITMENTS OF TRADERS is data. The data can be imported into MetaStock. Serach the web for the data. I am not sure of any one providing this data . Doc

Townsend, Go here: http://www.cftc.gov/cftc/cftccotreports.htm All the historical data you could ever want; all free. The files open in Excel format. You can edit the files and save them as you wish. I have a seperate Excel workbook that I copy and paste the data into (I don't use all the COT data and don't like the layout of the provided files, so I created my own workbook layout). You can create OLE links from MetaStock to your Excel files to chart the data. Once you have the data, you can do any number of statistical studies via Excel (Standard Deviation, etc.), then chart the data in MetaStock via OLE links. Hope this helps. T.

Hey Townsend- There are numerous Excel groups on the net... you might try Google groups for assistance with basic functions such charting. To plot external data in MS, you have a few options. The easiest will be to import the data using the Downloader. An alternative to plot live data would be to create an OLE connection. Both of these topics are found in the MS internal HELP files, the user's manual, and in the FAQ. If you get stuck along the way, just post your difficulty and an example and I'm sure we can assist you further.
