Sorry another question re linking excel. When I link excel, Im choosing colh and pasting to metastock. Lets say the firs 20 celss in the col = 20. Because Im linking the whole col the rest of the cells are read as 0. Is there away around this. I cant specify the first 20 cells, because the data gets added every 2 seconds. The problem is the scaling of the graph because the data is added so frequantly Ive always got a scale from 0 to 20ish, when I only need a scale from 19 to 21. Regards Robert

Write a VBA macro to locate the top 20 cells- or bottom 20- or whatever. Autoexecute it when the worksheet updates or on a timer.

Thanks for your reply. Im working on the macro, not ot difficult, only problem Im having now is getting rid of the 0 that are there before the cells are filled. In reality it actuall aprox 300 cells before the data becomes meaning full. With a vab can I tell meta to use first 10 cells then 20 then etc.. Regards Robert
