Hey FTEHA- Your first question is pretty subjective, but I'd say that youaer using 2 very popular indicators. The second question relates to the timeframes that you choose to trade. You probably will have different signals viewing different timeframes. If you are instead asking about viewing indicators of different timeframes on the same chart, then there are many posts here on the forum that will help you with that.

The forum search function is hosed, but here is a recent thread: http://forum.equis.com/v...3360&highlight=timeframe Also, check out Jose's & Roy's work in this area: http://www.metastocktools.com/ http://www.metastocktips.co.nz/

I have run across the same problem, a weekly indicator kicking off a signal as the daily indicator is kicking off in the opposite direction. I don't like to "tough it out" so: You could modify Jose's "weekly" code so that both are on the same chart then use a "latch" to buy the first daily signal after the weekly signal has kicked off. You may want to check visually to see if that is any better before fighting with the code.
