Hey hkequishk- When you are viewing the chart, you should be able to right-click anywhere on the layout and select ADD TO FAVORITES. If that's not working, you might try to reload the data; try a different security; or, try with a different template. I'm not sure if there is a limit to the number of favorites or not... they are stored (as links) in an external file. Is this the only problem that you are seeing with MS? Everything else seems to be working correctly?

Hi,G.Stocksman Thanks for your help. My problem is: there are 3 arrays in MS EOD 9.01, one is "history",one is "local data"(i down load HK data, and last is "favourites" In my OLD computer(win XP Home),I can use the "favourite'array to SAVE all the layouts that store my selected stocks, also i can save "charts",smartcharts"templates" too. for example's "the Top 10 turover" Layout., after I save, I can simply click the named layout in favourite array, all the charts selected will shown. But, Last day, when I setup my new computer, also Win XP version. and working with the same MS EOD 9.01, I cannot save the layout in the favourite array after I selected stocks to contain in a new layout name, and got a error message>"Layout can not save in favourite", and I re-load the driver of MS9.01, also same result. so.now,I just only can save the Layout in the "local data" array, which i need to download local vendor data eveyday, i afraid it may make some errors when daily EOD download. A strange difference between the normal and error is: when i click the top toolbar'open" on the "file" ,it will show a new window:3 arrays on left hand side show:(hist.local.favour) and the bottom show " files of type",it only show two types when selecting the "favourite" array(smart chart and templates),but the normal old computer will show four( all files, layouts,s.chart,templates). But, when i click local data array, the four types shows normal. I really do not know what happen?!! and all other funtions seems remains good. Thank You very much for your kind help. Hi, the old EOD data(12 years) that i stored in the old computer were transfered to the new computer by coping in a cd, that may cause the error. Now, i re-update the data direct from the vendor by internet. then, it is ok. B.Regs to all here. John S.L. Chan
