I have noticed that some of my indicators work better when more than a few stocks set the indicator on
around the same time.....so
The ability to combine a binary indicator over a group of stocks into one "histogram" chart plotting the indicator
count over the time period.
Also would use to identify sectors on the move, etc.

Hey John-
If you haven't check out the custom index function of the forum dll, you might get some mileage out of it... if I'm understanding your post correctly. It will allow you to make an index from a folder of stocks and you can apply whatever indicator (binary, etc.) to it that you want. Also, check out Jose's URSC for more functions pertaining to sectors.
