hey sportrider.... look on the 'system testing options' pane.... on the far right just above help and to the right of 'results' is 'more'..... click 'more' and then choose 'trade execution'.... uncheck 'realistic market prices' , set all 4 prices below it to close and '0' delay..... i have something interesting along the system tester line that i've yet to post, it goes every line by line.... will dig it up..... btw, something even more interesting was the conclusion the british surveying team came to while calculating the height of mt everest..... that 150 years ago this year...... h

In the System Tester edit the system and under the sell and buy oders you can add an Order Type with a formula or information to define the price at which to buy of sell. Regards Doc

Hi , Hayseed and Doc ,I tried what was suggested and I can't seem to get it to work. I get the right buy and sell signals but it doesn't buy at the signal .It buys at the(O,H,L,C) depending what I have checked off.I even tried (market,limit,stop,stoplimit) none bought at the signal but instead at whatever was checked off at the "trade execution" tab.Inherently I think it can't be done because one of these has to always be turned on. For example my problem is{buy:CROSS(H,OPEN+1.25); or H>=OPEN + 1.25}In other words when todays high is greater than open plus $1.25) and {sells:CROSS(L,OPEN-1.25); or L<=OPEN - 1.25}I used both in some tests but couldn't get to execute at the price where the formula became true it would recognize that it became true but would execute the entry at whatever was the price was at the close. I think it probably-,I might be wrong -that it probably needs a combination of intra day as well as end of day.Any suggestions anyone?Thanks in advance.
