Here it is guys
I'm getting fatigue of your after hours customer service. I don't want to waste another evening chating here for my money. Below is my idea of reasonable support and who you should think and care of. By some reason, I'm unable to post it as my customer service request. I'm asking you to pass it over because tomorrow I'm going to call one of your top executives and ask him what he thinks about this.
You did not resolve the problem. Your manuals contain no guidelines I could use to troubleshoot. I need someone to call me when I'm available and explain what to do STEP BY STEP. I'm not a computer expert and do not have to be.
You give free trial time and take it away by failing to provide reasonable support. Here is what I call reasonable.
At the presentation we were told that FXTA is designed for non-professional individuals, not for commercial use. Data feed is provided for individuals only. That means your target customers are regular people, most of whom is working day time and trading on FOREX market in spare time.
In case you don't know, majority of those individuals prefer European session, when your customer support is not available.
High demand for Meta Stock now is triggered by FXTA only. Nobody needs stocks, futures and commodities. This is a piece of the "intellectual property" you can keep. Who wants to pay for useless features and datafeed?
Your customers are using your product when your customer support is shut down. Do they have to beg you for help for their money?
Forex market is on 24/5, so should be your customer service. Otherwise, you do not cover needs of your target customers.
This is reasonable to expect for almost $1000 soft and over $200/month datafeed and FXTA support (SUPPORT???).
Please, pass this over to your decision makers.

Two quick answers....
1 - we are not after hours support. Most everyone here is a customer and a trader, just like you.
2 - I was at a presentation today of over 100 customers. We asked the question, "how many of you trade the forex?" No one raised their hand. Most of our customers trade stocks, futures, options, you name it. yes forex is a hot market right now and perhaps support will change their hours. Those decisions are not made here.
You are welcome to be here. We encourage your participation. But the forum is a great place because the people make it great. Not because Equis has staff here. In fact, Patrick and I are only on after hours because we like this place, we built it - not because our jobs make us do it.. in fact, we don't get paid for any of this.
Thanks for your comments.

FX.EXE, may I suggest the following:
Stay away from the forex markets.
Two reasons:
1) Your "the-world-owes-me" attitude is not conducive to successful trading in professional markets. These (and other markets) will hammer your capital in record time with your egocentric attitude;
2) The forex markets are not suitable for amateurs who wish to trade "part-time".
You really need to choose your level of commitment. Choose either your day job, or trading - not both.

No. The world doesn't owe me anything and I’m not really requesting anything from the world. My message was addressed to individuals somehow affiliated with the software distributor because I couldn’t reach them for about a week. In case you missed the point, I just paid about $1000 for it. It was not a gift or donation. Customer service is a part of the product I purchased.
Also, I'm free to express my opinion on any subject in this and any other forum and you are not in position to judge my knowledge and experience in Forex trading as you have no idea who I am.
