Hi all. Just a quick question. I've downloaded a years commodity data into metastock and it has made its own ABC folders for the symbols. I then renamed the folders;Gold and Silver,Corn etc so I knew where each commodity was. All nice and organised so far. However when I updated with the latest data, metastock made all new ABC folders and just put the new data into them, totally ignoring my renamed folders. Is there any easy way to download the data into my lovely, organised renamed folders? All feedback much appreciated. All the best Jon

How do you update your data? Do you use the conversion from Tradestation? Or do you use Reuters Datalink? Patrick

Hi patrick I use a subscription from EODDATA with their own ascii to metastock converter which seems to work about 20 times faster than the downloader Cheers Jon

Have you asked EODDATA how to control where files are converted?
