Hello,
It seems to me that you are very fast to write DLL. I reposted my question here: I would like to set different period (for example period =5) for the Demand Index indicator, but Metastock provides this indicator as a black box only. So far, none of the Metastock "experts" able to help. This indicator is the ONLY ONE you ever need (per Gregg, the McClellan Summation Index is the only indicator you ever need). Patrick said this was complex and he did not have time right now to write DLL for it.
If you can help to write DLL for this indicator, you are the "real expert".
Thank you

kingsley29, I am not sure what you are after but you might try this: ROC(DI(),5,$). It is not a DLL but a custom indicator I picked up some where along the way. I am sorry but I cannot give credit to the author since the source has been lost. Charley

Note: This forum is *not* a custom order emporium... search the rules. If you want a "real expert" then hire one; else, the members here all volunteer their time. If you have a personal request for a particular member, then PM that member directly. Posting the same request again will not serve your purpose. Tacking this request on to an unrelated thread will not serve your purpose. I suggest that you let this thread suffice. In the future, please use the Wish List as the appropriate means of publically requesting dll programming.
Thanks.

Hello,
The reason I reposted it in the DLL section because Patrick said it needed a DLL. At least, Crwinnr5 saw it in here and suggested an "approximate solution" for now until the DLL is written.
Thank you very much Crwinnr5 for your suggestion.
