Just thought I would post and introduce myself. My name is Branden. I work for Equis and am here to help answer questions in the MSX forum a couple days each week.

Hey Branden! Welcome to the forum! It's nice to see more of the support team present. You'll find our members to be a friendly bunch of folks with all kinds of questions and answers. All-in-all a rather pleasant place to hang out.

Here is a bit more info. There are (currently) three of us that will be introducing ourselves this week. We will be taking turns (mine are Monday and Thursday) to spend time here answering questions. Some background for me: I started at Equis working on the web sites (www.echarts.com and www.equis.com) for about a year. I then moved to support for a year. Then I did development support (msdevkit@equis.com) for about a year. For the last year, almost two, I have been working in software development (Even got to help with 9.1!).

That could be why I was asked to come help out. :) I have used C++, MFC, and C++.NET to do MSX DLLs and all those plus VB.NET to do other DLLs. I personally prefer C++ style and I like .NET. So, I'd say C++.NET. C++ is probably the easiest of those to start with since that is what the MSX sample is in. But you can always change it to an MFC or .NET project and add more functionality to it.
