Dual Core vs. Single Core processors and Metastock Pro

Does anybody have any experience with Metastock Pro on a dual core processor system? I am told that the primary advantage of the dual core processors (Pentium D and Athlon64 X2) is that they enhance performance when running mulitple programs, i.e. multitasking. When I start MS Pro using e-Signal it appears that I have at least 3 programs running... MS Pro, Equis Data Server, and the e-Signal program. My connection to Interactive Brokers is via another computer so I don't have that platform running. I have a good deal available on a Athlon64 +3500 based system and am very tempted. But it is a single core processor. Does anyone have any experience so as to be able to compare the performance of these processors? Mark

Mark, Running the programs that you are, a dual core processors should speed things up. Some protions of MetaStock are multithreaded and it will help speed up MetaStock a little.
We currently do not have any bench marking for speed improvements.
