Anyone have a good way of finding an end of trend.
Am using ADX,channels for now but like something better?
When trading a trend with an oscillator I need something to tell me whether the move is just a swing
or something else.
Would rather not use moving averages.

There are many indicators and methods that might achieve what you are looking for. Some of the factors to consider are the market you're trading and the time frame. Ultimately, there is not going to be an exact answer to your question, since you will have to be the one interpreting the indicator anyway. Pring's guide to day and swing trading goes over trends and swings. I think his methods are sound. I used to trade off of his KST indicator, but not currently. Maybe that will give you a place to start.
