kadip had a good question the other day regarding the favorite’s folder.... that same issue had me digging deep into meta a while back , eventually the shovel broke and i moved on.... ahhh but deer season is upon us, quiet woods solve many problems, as here....
but first, the favorites folder is not a standard folder such as we commonly use for local data..... it’s actually a folder of shortcuts to charts from those standard folders.... hence the charts stay current without our having to add the favorites folder to our download....
now how to scroll through the favorites folder applying layouts....
a layout to me is a collection of charts , often 6, with indicators and experts attached.... sometimes composed of different time frames, different symbols and sometimes raff type lines....
if we choose those charts from different folders it will allow us to scroll through each those folders and apply the layout as we go..... the trick is to always include one chart from the favorites folder.... that chart does not have to be seen, remember the seen and unseen post....
here is ‘csco’ as an example, the chart from the favorites is unseen in the background but there.... thanks kadip, sometimes the mental fire needs a little stoking up and your question did just that.... thanks again, we all benefit..... h

hey konrad.... check the posts 'all for one and one for all ' and 'errors to the second power ' for attaching multiples....... fml("can't")-'t = fml("can")...... now u can......
the "ctl" plot will be overlayed on the remaining 'dia" plot , that pretty much says it.... in your picture the candlesticks are the century tel prices.... the o/h/l/c black bars are the diamonds.... so you have the 'ctl' prices overlaying the 'dia' prices for reference or comparsion.....h
