I would also like to see a kind of macro possibility to let the program do action with a short cut or based on a trigger.

Macro's offer extreme automation functionality. The users will benefit in many ways. It is certainly on my list :-)

Are we talking about toolbar macros then? Keystroke sequencing types of things? I sorta assumed that it was about formula-related macros and thought that we already had that... Lost in TX! #-o

Yes, the macro functionality I am refering to is outside of the formula shell. So that user workflow may be automated in various ways.
