I agree with Ophelia and would also like to see a tab format. In addition, it would be nice to have a way to turn an indicator off and on instead of either adding or removing. Also, is there a way to reduce the Title Bar or better yet incorporate it into the chart? I know it can be eliminated but then you loose the information.

Hayseed, I've tried that and it just doesn't work for me. Why? In a word, your method is all too confusing. For me. I trade off 1min ticks in whatever catches my fancy at the time and while I like layouts, they tend to proliferate and I tend to forget them, or what they represent. I also forget to delete them.. :) So your method takes too long to set something up and I can't tell where it is once I have -- all those damn icons look alike and the "mouseover tooltips" take too much time to examine. If I DO set one up and click on it, it takes too long to load fresh data (try 14 days of five charts and 1min ticks -- eSignal and good cable still takes a long time). I can see how your system might work on a longer time frame, or especially for examining EOD data, but for me and the way I trade it's a bust. In a way, it's an example of how TOO MUCH information is a bad thing. I don't need a gazillion indicators to trade well; in fact I can get by just fine on 6 or 7. The first thing I do when I install a new release of MSWIN is export just the formulae I want and delete the rest. Then copy the pared .DTA files back. And I certainly don't need 16.7 million color choices for my moving averages and trendlines... But I digress. One of the advantages to a 4 or 5 page tabbed layout limit is the constraint it places on the trading environment. You note Pareto's principle on your homepage (which is WAY cool, BTW) and I subscribe to it wholeheartedly. 20% of what's inside MSWIN at any given moment going to give me 80% of my profits. The principle also operates along the time axis, so if I chew up time futzing with layouts and figuring which of the 26 identical icons represents what I want to see, as is the case in your example, I've lost a whole hell of a lot of time I could have devoted to apprehending and acting on data.
